Maternity Photos

Tada! While Diane was here - in the 45 minutes we had before we had to load everyone in the car to go to the airport - we did a mini-photo shoot of Noah and I. These are some of my favorites.
(Click on any of the photos to make them fullscreen large.)

The photo shoot wasn't hard until later - we were so busy getting everyone out the door, and then driving, and then driving again. But yesterday it was a little hard. I mean, I love the photos, but it's still difficult knowing that we won't have more photos of Noah. Regardless, the photos are a tribute to Diane's photography abilities - since the only light we used was the natural light from our bedroom window.

  1. Annie, those are some of the most beautiful, evocative maternity photos I've ever seen. I love one with you and Slider, and the one with hands making a heart on your belly, and the one... heck, I love them all. You're beautiful.

  4. and nice to see that "Bunny" who is nearly 26 years old, has an opportunity to serve again, too. Notice, everyone, that Bunny, who was one of Annie's 3 favorite take everywhere companions, is missing an eye (a boxer removed it long ago) and traveled with us to Ireland extensively. Bunny was "separated" from us (left behind) in one town, only to be shipped ahead to the next town on our itinerary by gracious hosts.

  11. Annie Bananie! It's your uncle ed! This is the first time I've blogged, so forgive me if it's all messed up.
I spoke to your mom last night, and she filled me in on what's happening. You and Dave are the most courageous, loving people I know.Going in with your eyes wide open, giving this little soul solace and love. It just breaks my heart to know how much you two are suffering. Please don't forget to take care of yourselves and each other in this process.
Honey, there is no way of telling the way of the world. Why some people have good fortune and others don't. Why the least deserving people seem to have fortune smile on them, and giving and loving people are pushed to the side and trampled.
Giving Noah a chance to experience the world is such a selfless, loving act, don't feel it's in vane. you will one day have many siblings for Noah, and that's when you will truly realize the enormous, loving gift that you are giving the world by taking Noah to term, and showing him that he's safe and loved.
I love you so much, Annie.
